SNOW!!! It snowed on Wednesday... in JUNE! Who would have thought? Only in Rexburg, is all I have to say. (This picture was actually taking during an April hail storm, but I didn't get a picture of last week's storm so this will have to do. It's of my roommate Tiffiny Smart and me.)
We also had rain. It rained every other day except for the weekend. (Here is a picture of the Rexburg temple in the fog... it was taken a while ago too but it's the closest I could get to a picture of rain in Rexburg.)
And finally, on the weekend we had beautiful weather. On Saturday, my roommates and I went to an airshow at the Rexburg airport museum. It was a lot of fun. Some of the planes did somersaults and one landed on a moving truck. Plus, I was supposed to write an article about the event so I got to talk to a few pilots. It was fun. I sat in an open cocked airplane and a guy offered to take me in his airplane to see the Yellowstone geisers and some waterfalls nearby. That'd be soo amazing! I had heard that it snowed there last week. WEIRD! We finally have sun and the kids are all very very sunburned and loving every minute of it. I hope it's here to stay for a while.
Nice weather, only in Rexburg! The sun has finally decided to show itself here, after weeks of rain. I am so glad.
